Congratulations to one of our newer members, Scott Starkey, who scored his first competition ace on Tuesday 7 July.

Scott used an Approach Wedge to find the cup at the short but treacherous 80-metre par 3, Third hole on the North Course… taking full advantage of conditions on a fine, cool and calm winter’s day.

Scott’s been playing, as he put it: “…on and off for life… but minimal over the last 20 years."

He joined North Adelaide about two years ago, declaring it his “most serious” commitment to the game.

Scott’s is the fourth hole-in-one on the interim 13-hole North Course, since it came into play just on two months ago, while the South Course undergoes upgrading and extending to championship standard.
