• If you are unable to meet your tee time, please contact the Club, or on the day of play, please contact the Pro Shop.
• You must register with the Pro Shop starter at least 20 minutes prior to your tee time – failure to register on time will result in you being removed from the field to the reserve list.
• All players are to carry and use a bucket of sand to fill divot holes – including players with carry bags.
• Players must report to the tee as soon as the group in front departs the tee.
• It is good practise to mark your ball with your own identification mark and to inform your playing partners as to what ball you are using.

• Hit only when golfers ahead of you are out of range.
• Stand still and remain quiet while others are playing their shot.
• Watch where all balls go to avoid time spent looking for lost balls.
• Yell the warning “FORE” if your ball is heading towards another golfer.
• Repair and sand your divots.

• Keep pace with the group in front of you at all times.
• Walk briskly and directly to your ball unless you will be in the way of someone else’s shot.
• Place your bag or cart near where you are hitting.
• Be ready when it is your turn to play and then play your shot without unnecessary delay.
• The player furthest from the hole usually plays first, but golfers who cannot reach the group in front may play first if appropriate.
• Assist playing partners when needed by looking for lost balls and by bringing clubs, etc.
• Foot and club marks are to be raked before leaving a bunker.
• Players should refrain from walking up the face of a bunker, except when playing a ball.
• Rakes would be left in the middle of the bunker, facing the direction of play, such that it will be least likely to affect another player.

• Refrain from pulling bags or driving carts across the green.
• Place your bag between the green and the next tee.
• Take all clubs that you may need.
• Repair your own ball marks and others either while you are waiting your turn to putt, or before you leave the green.
• Avoid stepping on another player’s putting line.
• Usually the person furthest from the hole plays first. A player off the green may be closer to the hole than a player on the green.
• Mark your ball if it interferes with another player.
• Care should be taken not to damage the edge of the hole or the green surface when removing or replacing the flag stick.
• The putter head MUST NEVER be used to remove the ball from the hole.
• Ensure that the flag stick is replaced firmly in the middle of the hole.
• Record all scores on the next tee.

In the interest of avoiding slow play, it is the duty of all players to keep up with the group in front, not in front of the group behind. The following tips can help you keep pace with the group in front of you:

• In the event of a lost ball, if the group behind is ready, call them through immediately.
• If you have found your ball before the group behind has finished hitting up, then continue to play your ball.
• In other than stroke competitions, pick up your ball when you can no longer score on a hole.
• The first player to tee off on a hole should mark their scorecard after they have teed off.

Players are encouraged to adopt the :ready golf" principles - no honour on tees and being ready to play on the fairway when it becomes clear ahead.

Remember; by keeping pace, you make the game more enjoyable for everyone.

The GolfSA code of conduct, together with other requirements of players as specified by tournament condition, local rules and regulations of the Club, shall apply to all golf competitions conducted or promoted by the North Adelaide Golf Club.

In consideration of other members, mobile phones may be carried on the course, but must be switched off, or on "silent" mode during play. Phones must be switched off during any formalities conducted in the Clubroom, eg: presentations, and announcements.
