Congratulations to club stalwart, Gareth Bridges, who’s scored his first hole-in-one in competition, at a hole now earning quite the record for aces.

Playing in competition on Tuesday 27 October, Gareth lined up at the short downhill par 3 third hole, using a gap to land the ball short and watch it then roll about five metres into the jam jar.

Gareth’s ace today is his first in 45 years of playing golf… and is the seventh scored at the Third hole in an NAGC club event, since competition moved to the shortened North Course back in May.
