NAGC’s lanky legal eagle, Damien Grath has become the latest to join the club’s hole-in-one chapter, scoring an ace in competition on Valentine’s Day (Saturday 14 Feb).

Damo let loose with a nine iron at the par 3 sixth hole during the afternoon competition.

Eyewitnesses report the ball made one bounce past the pin and then spun backwards to find the hole… sending the gallery into delirium.

It's his second ace in 40 years of golf, with first only coming in August last year. 

He collected 1 ball for the NTP, and six more for the Eagle, which was a pretty good haul in what was sadly, an otherwise ordinary round. Congratulations though Damien! What a legend.

The club has now seen seven holes-in-one in four months; and one could be forgiven for thinking NAGC members are hellbent on squeezing every last prize out of this course while it remains in its current iteration.
