2026 Moller Cup
North Adelaide will have to wait another year for success in the historic Moller Cup interclub challenge for women.
Perfect weather greeted the three competing clubs in their 2026 meeting on Monday 2 November, with Mt Lofty GC unfortunately unable to field a team once again.
Grange East was the venue, and the extra run on the course sent players into the many bunkers on the Greg Norman-designed layout. For North Adelaide, it provided a taste of things to come, as work on the new course continues apace.
Local knowledge proved the deciding factor however, as Grange coasted to its first Moller Cup win since 2022. The final scores: Grange 310, Mt Osmond 290 and North Adelaide 262.
The event has been played since 1957 with North Adelaide and Grange the founding members, later joined by Mt. Osmond and Mt. Lofty. The winning club is decided by the best aggregate stableford score between teams of ten players each.
Representing NAGC in the photo were Adrienne Holmes, Threetip Wongsala, Belinda Smith,(absent) Laifong Cheong, Merrilyn Middleton, Kathy Smith, Rosemary Oborn, Dee Bennett, Julie Greenslade, Hannah Tayler, Susan Bywaters (Reserve).
Thank you to these players for representing our club.
Congratulations Grange and Mt. Osmond and see you all again next year!
