2026 Jane Crafter Challenge
A record 111 players from 20 clubs made this year's 11th annual Jane Crafter Challenge the most successful to date.
Normally played at North Adelaide, the event moved to Aston Hills at Mt. Barker on Monday 12 October, while the home course undergoes renovations.
The course was in superb condition and conditions were cool, windy and dry as women golfers from as far afield as South Lakes and Clare competed in three handicap divisions: Golf, Silver and Bronze.
Prior to the presentations, the players heard a welcome message from Jane Crafter herself, the former LPGA Tour player turned commentator, now based in Arizona.
Taking the honours (l to r):
- Leslie Montfort of Tanunda won the Gold division with 39 stableford points.
- Jill Sprigg of Aston Hills won the Silver division with 42 points; and
- Donna Makings of Oakbank won the Bronze division scoring 45 points.
Thanks also to the event's longtime sponsor, PKF...
And the the tireless dedication of the organising committee:
(l to r) Lauren Decelis, Carolyn Coleman, Merrilyn Middleton, Susan Bywaters, Sarah Russell,
Sarah Barlow (Aston Hills), Deb Decelis, Myranwy Kaines, and Maureen Pyke.
