Centenary Year Celebration Dinner
The flagship event of the North Adelaide Golf Club Centenary year celebrations was a gala dinner held at Adelaide's premier venue, the ballroom of the Hyatt Hotel.
More than 350 signatories, SAGA officials, other golf club executive officers, members, family and friends attended and the social pages of the Sunday Mail were filled with pictures and commentary about the event.
In keeping with the style of this presentation of the Centenary Year, the associated pictorial pages tell the story.
The Souvenir Program was a 28 page glossy booklet presented to every person in attendance. We have reproduced the key pages including the cover, the Management Committee and Life Members depicted on the inside cover, a forward by Club Patron, Mr Michael Harbison (Lord Mayor of Adelaide), the History of the North Adelaide Golf Club by Clarrie Bell, the menu and the epilogue by the Club President.
The majority of the pictures shown for the Celebration Dinner were taken by the official photographer engaged by the Club for the event.
